Version 7 is here!  (embedded videos in your .PDFs and more...)

Updating to Version 7 is easy and takes just a few minutes.  And my updates have been FREE for the past twenty years! (not $400+ per year like many of my competitors)

I ALREADY HAVE Version 7.x (this is ridiculously easy):

For older, 32-bit computers: All you have to do is close CharterSUITE, then RUN this and click UNZIP:  FREE UPDATE

For 64-bit computers: All you have to do is close CharterSUITE, then RUN this and click UNZIP:  FREE UPDATE

 

I have Version 6.x or older (this is still easy):

(Due to many new .DLLs which I purchased and integrated, you need to reinstall the software from scratch. But please follow these steps so you can retain all of your stored information)

STEP 1:  Backup your Data (then double-check to be sure you've done so!)

1) Please create a temporary folder anywhere on your hard drive (RIGHT-click on START, then select EXPLORE.  Then click FILE | NEW | FOLDER and name it anything you want). This will be where you will store your stuff temporarily.

2)Copy the following files from your C:\Program Files\CharterSUITE folder (or C:\Program Files (x86)\CharterSUITE folder if you have a 64-bit computer) to the folder you just created:

  • CHARTERSUITE.MDB
  • [AllOfYourTextFiles].TXT
  • [AllOfYourPictures].BMP including your company logo
  • CS.KEY 

To copy these files, RIGHT-click on START, then select EXPLORE.  Hold the CONTROL key down and highlight each file, then RIGHT-click on any one of the highlighted files and select COPY.  Then RIGHT-click on the folder you created in 1) above and select PASTE.

STEP 2:  Uninstall CharterSUITE

Click START | CONTROL PANEL | ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS, select CHARTERSUITE from the list and click ADD/REMOVE...

STEP 3:  Reinstall CharterSUITE

Click HERE to install CharterSUITE, Version 7.

STEP 4:  Copy your data back.

Copy the files from 1) above back into your C:\Program Files\CharterSUITE folder (RIGHT-click on START, then select EXPLORE.  Hold the CONTROL key down and highlight each file, then RIGHT-click on any one of the highlighted files and select COPY.  Then RIGHT-click on the C:\Program Files\CharterSUITE folder and select PASTE.)  Note:  If you have a 64-bit computer, RIGHT-click and PASTE into your C:\Program Files (x86)\CharterSUITE folder.
